For Rupal Shabnam Tyagi, beauty begins with purity!

Her life took a transformative turn when she married into a family of royal lineage from Nehtaur, Uttar Pradesh. Her exposure to regal traditions and natural beauty rituals using natural oils, herbs, potions preserved across generations shaped her understanding of beauty rooted in simplicity and integrity. Regular visits to the family’s aromatic plantations and mango orchards awakened a curiosity that soon became a purpose, leading her to qualify as a professional Aromatherapy Practitioner from London.

In 2008, Rupal established India’s first-of-its-kind dedicated Aromatherapy Clinic in New Delhi, where her personalised treatments brought relief to people ailing in complex health conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, PMS, migraines, sports injuries, post-operative care, and chronic body pain, to name a few. Alongside these, she also addressed lifestyle-related concerns and everyday ailments such as acne, dermatitis, sun-damaged and ageing skin, alopecia in women, and hair fall, using her customized blends of pure essential oils and natural products.

Years of immersive practice in aromatherapy and perfumery inspired her to study Organic Cosmetic Science and launch her own label, where the story of Wikka began. The idea was simple – recreating a world of purer times with treasures of the royal household, brewing beauty concoctions with natural essential oils, herbs, and botanical potions to nurture the mind, body, and soul.
